Dynamic speaker, charismatic leader, visionary, provocative thinker, former United States Marine of twenty-six years.  He is the husband to a loving wife, Iona, and father to two children, Veronica and John. He serves as the Senior Pastor of Hebron Ministries Praise Center.

Vernon L. Miller, was born to John Vandi and Willie Mae Miller of Madison, Florida, June 13, 1950 and graduated from Suwannee River High School in 1968.

As a child he was taught the value of family, hard work, perseverance and instilled within him was a sense of self-reliance by people that lived these qualities every day of his life.

Vernon L. Miller was baptized in Jesus’ Name at Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church March 15, 1992 and filled with the Holy Ghost June 3, 1993.

He was ordered to Camp Pendleton and there the Lord directed him to Christ Temple Apostolic Church under the tutelage of  Bishop Donnie N. McGriff, Sr. There he was given the privilege to teach and preach the Word of  the Lord.

The Start of Hebron Ministries

Elder Miller and his wife Lady Iona Miller answered the call of God and under His directions formed Hebron Ministries Praise Center in Jacksonville, North Carolina in 1998.  Elder Miller was given a strong message of “Helping The Hurt To Heal” by teaching God’s people to love Him and giving them a safe haven, a “City Of Refuge”. Elder Miller is husband to a loving wife Iona, and father to two children.
