assists the Senior Pastor in the performance of the following duties as they are assigned.  Help to establishing the overall mission, goals, education programs and objectives of the church.

They are to encourage congregational participation in all of the programs that the church establishes and utilize the time and talents of every member.

They help educate others about Christianity and serve as moral leaders and advisors.

Ministers conduct altar work during call to discipleship, explaining the gospel and praying for candidates. They also conduct water baptisms. Ministers visit jails, prisons, nursing homes and homeless shelters to perform religious services. They also assist in taking care of the congregation by visiting members who are ill and providing support in times of bereavement.
